Frequently Asked Questions

Who qualifies for a trial?
Trial access is reserved for qualified customers. The Operant team reviews each application individually based on environment, use case, team size, and fit. If your application isn't approved for a trial right away, we'll offer a live demo as an alternative. Please use your work email when requesting the trial.
When does the 7-day clock start?
The trial period starts when you have access to the provisioned sandbox instance — not when you submit the form. You get the full 7 days to deploy, evaluate, and protect.
Do I need to enter a credit card?
No. The trial is completely free and you will never be asked for payment information. There is no automatic conversion to a paid plan at the end of the trial.
Will this affect my production traffic?
No. Operant starts in observe-only mode by default. You decide when and where to enable enforcement based on what you see in the platform.
What happens after 7 days?
Your trial sandbox is decommissioned at the end of the 7-day window. You can convert to a paid plan to keep going, or simply uninstall. No automatic charges and no lock-in.
